ruby-ffi software package provides load dynamic libraries, bind functions from within ruby code, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-ffi
ruby-ffi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-ffi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-ffi *
You will get with ruby-ffi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
